4 die as torrential rains lash South Korea, landslide alerts issued in vulnerable regions
Torrential rains have killed four people in South Korea and led to the evacuation of more than 1,000 people. In the city of Gwangju, some 267 kilometres south of Seoul, 87 roads and 38 buildings were submerged within about two hours after torrential rain warnings were issued.
