US to send new proposal to Israel & Hamas for Gaza ceasefire, hostage deal

US Middle East Envoy Steve Wifkoff has said he will soon submit a new proposal to Israel and Hamas for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and release of hostages. The announcement comes shortly after Hamas said it had reached an understanding regarding a deal with Witkoff.
