The irony in Hasina’s trial at Bangladesh’s International Crimes Tribunal

The irony is that ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina now stands accused of crimes against humanity before the very tribunal she created in 2009 to try war criminals of the 1971 Liberation War. Once the architect of justice, she is now branded the “mastermind” behind mass killings during the 2024 student-led protests.
