‘Danger to life’ weather warning for thunderstorms set to hit UK
The hot and humid weather expected across much of Britain today will give way to "beefy showers" in many areas, the Met Office said as it issued weather warnings. The amber alert in the South East could bring floodwater "causing danger to life".
