โSilent killerโ heatwave thought to have left at least 9 dead in Europe
Scientists call heatwaves "silent killers" because of the thousands of lives they claim a year. In Italy, at least five people have died in the continent's ongoing heatwave, and A&E admissions are up 10-20% in some parts.
