Trump says preparing Putin-Zelensky meeting ahead of trilateral summit

The Ukrainian president and European leaders met with Donald Trump at the White House on Monday to find a solution to the conflict in Ukraine. The US president then called Vladimir Putin and announced that he had “begun preparations” for a meeting between Putin and Zelensky, to be followed by a three-way meeting.
