Brazil calls out world ‘preoccupied’ by defence, as it prepares to host global climate summit COP30
While western leaders are distracted by military spending and security concerns, Brazil fears the knock on impact on the climate fight. Minister Marina Silva also vowed this year's COP30 climate summit would be "different" from the preceding ones.
