Hamas chief Mohammad Sinwar killed in May 13 strikes, Israeli military confirms Netanyahu’s claim
The Israeli military has confirmed the death of Hamas chief Mohammad Sinwar, saying he was killed in an airstrike on 13 May. The announcement comes three days after Netanyahu made a similar claim. Sinwar was the younger brother of Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader accused of planning the October 2023 attack.
