‘I felt I couldn’t keep my baby safe’: Warning of heat impact on pregnant women and newborns
Recent years have seen an average of 26 days 'pregnancy heat risk days' in the UK, which could raise the risk of premature births and is dangerous for newborns, Climate Central warned. One mother told Sky News she feared she "couldn't keep my baby safe".
