India’s industrial growth slumps to 1.2% in May 2025, lowest in nine months

India’s industrial production growth slowed sharply to 1.2% in May 2025, the lowest in nine months, as output in the manufacturing, mining, and power sectors weakened significantly, according to official data released by the National Statistics Office (NSO)
