Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel is moving ahead with its planned takeover of Gaza City. He also signalled willingness to negotiate the release of Israeli hostages, but his remarks undermined hopes for a ceasefire deal proposed by Arab nations and accepted by Hamas earlier this week.
