Pakistan creates new paramilitary force after jailed ex-PM Imran Khan threatens nationwide protest
Ahead of protests by jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Pakistani government has created a new paramilitary force, prompting fears that it could be used to crush PTI’s movement and target political opponents.
