Prisons across France attacked ‘in response to crackdown on drug trafficking’
France's national anti-terrorism prosecutor's office is leading the probe after automatic weapons were fired at a prison in Toulon, while vehicles were burned and staff were threatened at facilities elsewhere across the country.
