‘Ready to play our part’: India welcomes Iran-Israel ceasefire, urges focus on peace and dialogue
India on Tuesday welcomed the ceasefire between Iran and Israel after nearly two weeks of fighting but voiced concern over long-term peace in West Asia. The government also praised efforts by the US and Qatar in brokering the truce.
