Trump threatens to block Washington Commanders stadium deal unless they change name back to ‘Redskins’
The Washington Commanders announced in 2020 that they were "retiring" their old name and Native American head logo after decades of criticism. The term "redskin" is defined as an "insulting and contemptuous term for an American Indian".
