Ukraine war, sanctions cast shadow on Indo-Russian joint venture for 200 choppers
The Indo-Russian project to build 200 Kamov helicopters in India has hit a standstill due to the Ukraine war, Western sanctions on Russia, and post-pandemic supply chain issues, according to a report. As the joint venture faces delays, India’s HAL is shifting its focus to developing its own helicopter models.
